Play Off, Gialloblù in semi-final waiting for opponent (Civitanova or Monza)

Today's success of Itas Trentino against Modena has allowed the Gialloblù to qualify for its 16th Scudetto Play Off semi final in history, without however yet knowing the name of the opponent to be challenged from Sunday 31 March. In fact, the quarter-final between Civitanova and Monza will need at least one more match (game 4 scheduled for next Sunday in Brianza), after Cucine Lube Civitanova this evening at the Eurosuole Forum clinched the 1-2 point in the series. Regardless of which team it will face, Trentino Volley is already certain to play three of the five matches in the semi final confrontation at the T quotidiano Arena by virtue of winning the regular season.

The provisional dates of the matches that Itas Trentino will play in the semifinals of the Play Off Scudetto 2023:
Game 1: Sunday, 31 March, 6 pm (at the ilT quotidiano Arena)
Game 2: Wednesday, April 3, 8:30 pm (away)
Game 3: Sunday, April 7, 6 p.m. (at the ilT quotidiano Arena)
Possible Game 4: Thursday, April 11, 8:30 p.m. (away)
Possible Game 5: Sunday, April 14, 6 p.m. (at the ilT quotidiano Arena)

Even at the top of the table, the semi final pairing will have to wait until next weekend to be defined, as there is currently only one qualified team (Perugia: 3-0 over Verona), while the quarter-final confrontation between Piacenza and Milan requires at least game 4.
