Thanks to back to back test match between Italia and Slovenia, this week in Cavalese, young middle-blocker Jan Kozarmenik (21) had the chance to get in touch with his new life in Trentino. During his first interview for Trentino Volley YouTube channel he told us about himself and his first feelings.
“I love the mountains and I’m sure it will be great! I have never been in Trentino before, but my first impression is positive. Same feelings with the club and my new teammates. I’m really excited for this new adventure; I spoke with Urnaut about Trento and Trentino Volley: he told me about the club’s attention to every detail and the warmth of the fans. I didn’t ask much else, as I want to develop my own opinion here. I will arrive after the European Championship and it won’t take me long to get in shape and  start working for the team".
“A three-year contract is actually a long commitment, but if Trentino Volley offered me such a contract it means they believe in me and I’m obviously flattered. I hope to stay here for a long time and prove to myself and to the team that I deserve to play in the Italian Championship, improving and working together everyday. We are a young team but already at high levels; we can take a further step working as a team and training hard. To the fans I can only say: Forza Trentino Volley!”.

On Tuesday, right after the first test match (3-0 win for Italy with Lanza and Vettori (13points)), Kozamernik got to know his new teammates better, especially Simone Giannelli.
