In the aftermath of the incidents occurred at PalaPanini during the third set of Game 3 of semifinal Play Off UnipolSai Championship 2016 between DHL Modena and Diatec Trentino, Matey Kaziyski wants to return to the situation created after his expulsion and that of Bruno Mossa De Rezende. "Subnet flew unpleasant words with Bruno who provoked our team several times with really heavy expressions; I told him and the first referee that we could no longer tolerate that. It all started from there, but beyond that I would like to apologize for the gesture that I made out of the field; I want to clarify that it was not addressed to the public but only to the person who had thrown at me in that moment an object from the stands. I do not seek excuses for sure there can not be, but the situation created in that circumstance caused me to lose lucidity and for this I blame myself. I’m the first to know that the reaction to the provocations never finds excuses and we as players should be above such things. For this reason I apologize with Modena and the public, in general with the entire volleyball movement. I hope that, starting from today, we can go back to talk only about played volleyball and specifically of Game 4, which I'm sure will be a great spectacle of sport and fairness."
The Bulgarian spiker will be available for Diatec Trentino for both Game 4 and eventually Game 5 of the series.
