Trento, September 7th, 2015
The path of Trentino Volley will resume exactly where it left off on May 13th with the victory of the fourth league title. It will be the Palapanini in Modena to host the first major official event of the season 2015/16; in fact, on October 24th the Del Monte® Italian Super Cup, which has reached the 20th edition, will be played in the historical sport facility of Emilia.
During the event, which has been organized by Volleyball League and Modena Volley, the Italian champions will challenge the hosts home, that will contend the trophy to the tricolor as winners of the 2015 Italian Cup.
For the Company and its fans then, will be a new opportunity to experience an event that will award a title, as happened five months earlier in the same location in Game 4 of Championship Final Super League UnipolSai 2015. The team of Radostin Stoytchev will look for his third affirmation in this competition after the successful editions in 2011 (Cagliari) and 2013 (at PalaTrento) and defeats of the editions 2008, 2010 and in 2012 played in Modena.
"As Diatec Trentino we also welcomed the request of Modena Volley to organize the final of the Del Monte® Super Cup in 2015, because we find interesting and innovative to open the season right where we had completed the previous one”- explained the President of Trentino Volley Diego Mosna -. “Moreover PalaPanini is a beautiful facility and I am sure that it will offer a great frame to this audience also for this event, which will provide a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the second edition of Super League. I’m also sure that many supporters of Trentino will reach Modena for this occasion, seen the relative distance from Trento: as always, Trentino Volley will organize the trip by bus for its supporters."
On the world tricolor court, the ball Mikasa MVA 200 will be controlled by a Video Check System in a special version, i.e. with additional cameras for net tests and block touches. The challenge will be broadcast live on RAI Sport and dozens of foreign TV connected via satellite with the PalaPanini.
