Diatec Trentino roars in PalaTrento: Azimut Modena defeated in the 68° A22 derby. Tie break success

In the most awaited home match of the regular season Diatec Trentino gets back to its best self in front of 4000 spectators in PalaTrento (sold out) and wins the 68th A22 derby against Modena by 3-2, in the tenth match of SuperLega UnipolSai regular season.
The well deserved success, third in a row, brings two points which have a double value, as now the fifth place in the rank is only two points away and a comeback is more than at reach. In order to stop Azimut Modena (so far always victorious in away matches) the team had to deliver an outstanding performance with pride and personality, completing a recovery from a disadvantage of 2-1 sets and dominating the tie break. Led by Captain Lanza (MVP of the match), spiker Hoag (best scorer with 19 points) and the surprise Teppan (12 points with 56% in attack since the third set), Diatec Trentino progressively improved its game, with a very attentive block phase which gradually remove confidence from Modena forcing the opponent to many direct mistakes.
