Diatec Trentino overcame the defeat against Vibo Valentia and won again, relaunching itself in the running. Yesterday on the evening, the yellow-blue team played at home winning against the great freshman Biosì Indexa Sora in the anticipation of the 15th turn of SuperLega regular season. The 3-1 victory lets Diatec Trentino to regain the top of the ranking, at least for 42 hours, waiting for Civitanova and Modena (respectively with three and two points more) to play their own match in Piacenza and at home against Milana.
Yesterday’s match proved that the PalaTrento is impregnable (seventh victory in seven matches). Angelo Lorenzetti’s team regained efficiency and concreteness, especially in the attack (55%) and in the services (10 direct points). Even when the team didn’t directly gain points, it caused problems in the side out system of the other team, with difficulties at the net. Except a break at the end of the second set, that costed a set, the evolution of the match was in the hands of the home team, led by Giannelli. The team played so well that 4 players ended the game with percentages over 50%: the opposite hitter Gabriele Nelli (best scorer with 20 points, 3 aces and 59%) and the central hitter Solé (12 out of 14 and two blocks) were the best players, but also Urnaut (mvp of the match with 15 winning balls and 3 aces) did great.
