The dream of winning one of the few trophies that Trentino Diatec still hasn't, has faded away during the golden set. The team in fact has been defeated tonight in Tours by the home team which won the regular match for 3-1 and then also the tie break, keeping the 2017 CEV CUP in France..
Therefore the second continental trophy fades away for the Club in via attener at the last moment ait happened in 2015. To gain the so wanted result it wasn't enough for Lorenzetti’s team winning the first part of the match. After losing the first set and winning the second one, the Yellow-blue immediately followed the reaction of the home team, pushed by Konecny (27 points with 47% in attack, mvp), they won the following sets and conquered the victory at the golden set. The 17 points of Lanza and Stokr and the blocks and services of Gianelli weren't enough to bring the trophy in Italy.
