This afternoon Diatec Trentino was back in Trento, closing the away game in Turkey and coming home after four days. Now that Lorenzetti’s team has regained the first place in round E of the Main Phase of Champions League, they must concentrate on the SuperLega, on Sunday there will be the 21st turn of regular season. Lanza and his team will play against Perugiain the remake of Coppa Italia’s semi-final played a week before. Diatec Trentino has only one day of training before that match (that of Saturday afternoon at the PalaTrento) in order to not obtain a similar result to that obtained in Bari at the PalaFlorio. We regained the fourth place in the table with difficulty and we want to protect it from Verona, even we we know that the match of Sunday will be difficult- explained Filippo Lanza-. On Sunday we will have the possibility to atone for the defeat in the Coppa Italia’s semi-final in Bari, maybe harnessing our audience. We are aware of Sir Safety Conad’s merit, which in this period is playing in a fantastic way, but we want to try with determination and attention. In the math played in Izmir, Lanza is back to the origins; as a matter of fact, he played in the opposite role. When in 2006 Trentino Volley saw him and decided to bring him in the youth field he was playing in that role. “For me it has been a sort of flashback- said Pippo - ; it was a long time that I didn’t attack uninterruptedly from place 1 and 2 but I did it gladly because the team need it and I am always at their disposal.
