Diatec Trentino’s Captain Filippo Lanza has spoken this morning at the microphones of the stand of Radio Dolomiti that has been installed in Piazza Fiera on the occasion of the annual edition of Trento Film Festival. After meeting his supporters, who have come to the city centre specifically to take a selfie or to get an autograph, Pippo has spoken live on the frequencies of the yellow-blue network partner about the moment his team is going through.
“In the last ten days, no matter what the results of each match has been, we experienced really unique emotions – stated Lanza -; now we’re nearly at the end of our seasonal path, a long journey that has been rich in feelings that sometimes were even conflicting. We struggled, rejoiced and then we struggled again but we treasure what we have experienced. Now we hope we can reap what we have sown with so much effort during the regular season. We deserve to play this Final of Scudetto and we want to enjoy every single moment; the beginning was not the best we could have expected but we’re ready to try to go a step further also in this series. At the beginning of the season, perhaps only few people would have expected us to take part in this match; For this reason in particular, we have to take the maximum advantage of our enthusiasm and home court advantage in Match 2 on Thursday May 4th. We still have chances to win this competition.”.
“I like getting on with different activities at the same time, so volleyball is of curse one of the most important aspects in my life but I’m trying to deal with something outside the field too – added during the interview conducted by Francesca Bertoletti and Gabriele Biancardi - . Soon, together with representatives of volleyball, we’re going to launch “NineSquared”, a new line of clothing designed for those who love and practice our sport”. This evening the Captain has taken part together with the rest of the team in the only training scheduled for today at PalaTrento: almost one hundred and fifty minutes of work, mainly technical and tactical exercises on the central field, under the guidance of Angelo Lorenzetti and Dario Simoni.
