He’s been, inevitably, the most anticipated player, the most sought after by fans eager to take pictures with him and to get an autograph, among all the players that took part in the 1st “Trofeo Città di Villafranca”. Filippo Lanza, Trentino Volley’s captain, didn’t deny himself the affection his hometown fans gave him (he was born in Zevio and raised in Colognola ai Colli, both towns of “bassa veronese”), spending time with them, after two high class matches where he’s shown its best, as proven by the stats. “I am really happy because we played two really good training matches- told the player to Trentino Volley Tv-; we wanted to try our game, and we did it, keeping focused even against teams conditioned by physical problems or absences. We managed to play good volleyball, and tried new situations. Personally, I am very satisfied with my physical condition and my knees. We still have few more days to prepare for the Supercoppa 2016 Final Four in Modena, where i want to be at my best.”
