“We were able to play better than the last period, especially during the side out phase– Angelo Lorenzetti commented at the end of the match - . Even having hard-ship to achieve regularly the fourth place, the attention of the team never decreases and also in the service we were able to achieve our goals. In the break phase we have suffered a little bit more because we weren’t often clear-headed in counterattack and we didn’t exploit the great job made between blocking and defending. Anyways, I want to compliment with the guys on how they have displayed the match; 2016 ends with a second place, but now we don’t have to look at the ranking list: it would mean look back at the past and we don’t have to do it. We want to look forward to the goals we will try to achieve in 2017”.
Diatec Trentino will return to Trento on Friday late afternoon and in the same evening will train in the weight room, the last training in 2016. The first commitment for next year is scheduled on Thursday January 5th in Loimaa (Finland) for the away matches of round sixteen of 2017 CEV Cup against l’Hurrikaani; however in the championship the closest match is scheduled on Sunday January 8th, at PalaTrento against Piacenza (at 6 p.m.).
