Luca Vettori to Radio Dolomiti: “That’s a calendar with a frantic pace, we have to stay focus to reduce the gap”

The fourth seasonal episode of “Trentino Volley in FM_dj for a day”, the transmission that Radio Dolomiti dedicates to Diatec Trentino every week, has put the spotlight on Luca Vettori. At the eve of the match versus Castellana Grotte, the opposite of Trentino Volley has told the situation of the team during the 20-minute-transmission on the yellow-blue partner network.
“The calendar of this period has a frantic pace and we are not allowed to lose our energies for something which is not functional to our improvement - has told Vettori -. We are therefore focused on what we can do to improve our strategy, starting from improving our technical side till arriving at the team dynamics. We know we blew some chances in this first matches, everyday we try to reduce the gap between our actual condition and the high expectations we have for the season”.
“Simone Giannelli is an amazing setter - has told Vettori- ; with him it’s easy to find the understanding and the right ball. We play a quick combination and obviously it’s not always effective but it can make a difference. Saturday night versus Castellana Grotte we will be ready from the first set, hoping that our spectators will be ready as well to help us in the best way”.
