The Valsugana loves volleyball and it particularly loves Trentino Volley. The final evaluation of the mini-retreat done by Diatec Trentino over the last weekend shows positive aspects from every angle. Satisfaction for the hospitality, the welcome and the quality of the facilities – expressed already on Sunday afternoon by trainer Angelo Lorenzetti after the end of this team-retreat in Levico Terme and Borgo Valsugana – is just one of many aspects that have proved the success of this initiative. Weighed in the balance there are also the great collaboration of the local Club, the G.S. Ausugum, which arranged the Palasport in the best possible way, the availability of Apt Valsugana, municipality of Borgo Valsugana and Valsugana Sport and last but not least the great enthusiasm shown by the supporters who crowded the stands of the facility in Borgo Valsugana.
There were more than 400 people watching the three trainings in Valsugana, that involved almost eight hours of technical, tactical and physical work. A peak of spectators was registered Saturday afternoon with 200 supporters who took advantage of the team official greetings to the local authorities, to have pictures and ask the thirteen players that were there for some autographs and selfies. There were even some fans coming from Lombardia, Veneto and Emilia in order to meet face to face their idols. Those people who couldn’t join the team in Valsugana last weekend, followed the mini-team retreat through the local social media (RTTR and the regional news on Rai 3 have broadcasted ad hoc TV reports), the website www.trentinovolley.it and in particular thanks to the official accounts of the sport club on the social networks with the official hashtag #WEinValsugana. Supporters have shown exceptional interest in the activities of Trentino Volley: the Facebook profile registered 6609 likes for 28 published posts, involving an overall number of 236 000 people and gaining 500 more fans in three days only; for what concerns the tweets on @trentinovolley thanks to 925 likes, 259 retweets and 61,745 interactions the number of followers has increased up to 13,300; the account on Instagram obtained 27,240 likes for 13 different shared pictures and now counts almost 2,300 followers. The Youtube channel “Trentino Volley Tv” registered 2,300 views (but this number will certainly increase in the next hours) for the four published videos that related day by day the daily routine of Lanza and his team-mates. These are certainly record numbers and therefore all people involved in Trentino Volley will certainly work hard in order to make possible to repeat these kind of experience soon.
