This past weekend has given the qualification for the Olympics in Rio 2016 to another player of Trentino Volley. After Antonov, Colaci, Giannelli and Lanza - who had hit the prestigious goal with Italy in the World Cup Japan 2015 - also Sebastian Solé with his Argentina has in fact gained the qualification to Brazil thanks to the victory of the tournament, which took place in Caracas between Friday and Sunday.
In Venezuela the Seleccion of Julio Velasco has made a clear round, overcoming Colombia and Chile (twice 3-0) and then the hosts, with a critical but important success at the tie-break after two hours of battle, as well explained by the partial 25-12, 22 -25, 25-12, 25-27, 15-12. In the decisive match the middle-blocker of Trentino Volley scored 15 points, that allowed him to win again - as happened few weeks before in Japan - a prize awarded to the best in the tournament in his role.
Awarded the qualification for the Olympics (potentially the second of his career after London 2012), Sebastian Solé will return to focus immediately on Trentino Volley; his return to the city is scheduled for next weekend, in order to be available for Stoytchev and Simoni already for the beginning of the last week of pre-season preparation.
