Mission accomplished for Belgium of Simon Van de Voorde. Thanks to the victories of three matches (only one match lost on Saturday against the Greek team of Mitar Djuric) in the weekend in Merkesem, the middle-blocker of Trentino Volley has actually conquered with his National Team the qualification to the European Championship 2017 that will take place in Poland.  Today the success of 3-0 against Moldova was decisive. The Red Dragons conquered the first place of the  Pool C and thanks to a greater number of sets , they overcame Greece which had the same numbers of victories and points in the ranking.
From next week, Simon will be available for the yellow-blue trainer, starting his second season with Trentino Volley. He will be back in on Tuesday evening; the following day the first training with his team mates and the presentation of the team.
