Holidays are already over for Massimo Colaci, Simone Giannelli and Filippo Lanza. After having enjoyed two weeks of rest after the end of the Play Off Scudetto, the three players of Trentino Volley will resume their trainings with the Italian National Team on Tuesday May 23rd. Already starting from this evening the Italian players will gather in Naples to start their summer season with their National Team; in Campania they will again Oleg Antonov, Tiziano Mazzone and Luca Vettori, who did the previous training session in Rome.
In the weekend they will participate all together to the first official match of 2017 of the National Team, which between Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May at PalaBarbuto of Napoli will respectively play versus Argentina and Giappone at 7 p.m. The triangular race in Campania will be the last test before the debut in World League 2017, which will be between the 2nd and the 4th of June at Adriatic Arena in Pesaro.
Last weekend Filippo Lanza has been protagonist also at Mizuno Beach Volley Marathon in Bibione (province of Venezia), playing as a testimonial out of the field the three days of matches for a personal sponsor. The presence of Trentino Volley’s captain has not gone unnoticed; Pippo has in fact been interviewed by Italia 1 for the very popular lunchtime broadcast “Sport Mediaset XXL”, telling about his passion for beach volley.
