After the five sets played at PalaTrento on Wednesday in the evening against LPR, Diatec Trentino will be back on the pitch in the weekend at Villafranca of Verona and will take part in a friendly four-way competition together with three other teams of the SuperLeague like Verona, Modena and Piacenza. Between September Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th , Lanza and his teammates will play two matches in the “1° Trofeo Città di Villafranca”, an event organized by Comitato Fipav of Verona, which will inaugurate the place Palazzetto dello Sport (a sports hall). There’s a big wait for the four matches that will animate the event (semi-finals and finals, also the one for the third place): the 1500 available tickets for the two days of the event are sold out. In front of a copious and enthusiastic audience, Diatec Trentino will test twice its condition, looking for relevant information before the Final Four di Del Monte® Super Cup 2016, which will be played in the following weekend at PalaPanini. Trento will confront Calzedonia Verona in the second semi-final of Saturday: kick-off at about 8 p.m., right after Modena-Piacenza. For the first of the two matches of the weekend, the coach Angelo Lorenzetti could count on all 13 players on disposal, choosing only at the last moment the hitter (Lanza or Antonov) in diagonal with Urnaut. On the other side of the net, the home teams’ coach Andrea Giani must give up to the exes Mitar Djuric and Alexandre Ferreira and to Lecat (playing, like Van de Voorde, with the National team and for the 2017 Europian Championships’ qualifications), but could count on the Serbian hitter Kovacevic and the Australian middle hitter Zingel, absent during the jointly training with Diatec Trentino of September 1st at PalaTrento. The two matches played in Villafranca by Diatec Trentino will be recounted real time on www.trentinovolley.it: the official website of the Club in via Trener will offer on its home page the live point-to-point and the report of every set, just a few second after its conclusion.
