In the weekend Diatec Trentino will start its second half of regular season with the furthest away match of SuperLega Unipolsai 2016/27 regular season. The yellow-blue team will start its trip on Saturday morning around 10 a.m.

The team will leave from PalaTrento by bus and then arrive at Linate's airport covering a distance of over a thousand kilometers. After taking their flight to Lamezia Terme, they will reach their destination around 18 p.m.
Trentino Volley will come to play in Calabria after more than three years; last match at PalaValentia, where the yellow-blue team has won in the past eight times on eleven matches, is dated back to December, 7th 2012. On that occasion it was Tonno Callipo to win one of its three home victories versus Diatec Trentino, thanks to the comeback success from 0-2 to 3-2. From the following season, with the relegation in A2 league of the yellow-red team, have not experienced direct matches between the two teams. But the history of this great match is, in fact, still full of chapters since, in addition to having played 19 times against each other, the two clubs were also opponents in the quarterfinals of 2009 and 2013 Championships, in the quarterfinals of Coppa Italia in 2012 and in the semifinals of the maximum national trophy in 2013. The last Diatec Trentino's success at PalaValentia is dated back to March, 27th 2013 (3-0 in the second match of quarterfinals playoffs); it was instead signed by Jan Stokr the most recent win in regular season (December, 22nd 2012 with 13 points scored by the Czech mvp). Diatec Trentino will be back in Trento in the early afternoon of Monday, December 12th and, starting from the day next, will begin to train for the next championship home match versus Sora, which is scheduled on Friday, December 16th (8.30 p.m).
