A single but important change compared to last season for the technical staff of Trentino Volley that started on August 31st will direct the training and prepare the matches. Beside the confirmation of Stoytchev, Simoni and Poeder, it goes in fact reported the coming to Trento of Ivan Contrario.
It will be the forty-one years old from Lazio to fill the role of Scoutman, curiously taking the place of his brother Danilo who covered this role for the Club Champion of Italy last season. It is an important arrival to the Company of via Trener that has guaranteed the expertise and skills to move between thousands of numbers and options in one of the best professionals.
Ivan Contrario can indeed vaunt twenty years experience in the world of games’ statistical surveys, a task that in the modern volleyball has become increasingly important to analyze situations in real time, but also to study the tactics to use to play against an opponents.
In his resume stand out the two seasons working with the National Italian Berruto (2013 and 2014), five with the Bulgarian (2005, 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2015) with which he still works, the constant collaboration with Data Project as a scout and fifteen years in the Serie A1 League between Rome and Latina. In the last two years was also Scoutman of Halkbank Ankara, brought to Turkey from Radostin Stoytchev who wanted him strongly in Trento.
