The qualification to the eighth final in the history was celebrated by Trentino Volley with a day off. Just after the great 3-0 against Sir Safety Conad in match 5 of semi-final, the technical staff granted the team a day off, which has been used to recharge the battery physically and mentally. The training sessions will restart on Monday in the morning at PalaTrento, with the only technique-tactics session before the departure for Civitanova Marche, where Diatec Trentino will play the first match of the series (always with the best-of-five formula) against Cucine Lube on Tuesday 25th April at 6 pm.
“We have been focused throughout the match, we have had the right determination to get the qualification to another final – explained one of the best players in the victory in three sets against Perugia, the middle blocker Sebastian Solé to the microphone of Radio Dolomiti. It was great to win once again at PalaTrento, our supporters are always able to give us something more, but we know that if we want to win the Scudetto, we need to win the away matches too.” “Cucine Lube Civitanova is very strong and is surely the favourite for the final victory – added the Argentinian player - ; the pressure will be all on the shoulders of our adversaries, we will try to take advantage of it in order to get something important, with our usual determination and enthusiasm. It will be the same match of the final of Coppa Italia in Bologna, which means that Trento and Civitanova are the best teams of this championship despite a fierce competition”.
