The return to PalaTrento in official competition after almost six months of absence, it gives a precious victory and the supremacy in the standings for Diatec Trentino. The Italian Champions have followed up the good performance offered in training emergency on Wednesday evening in Monza, even surpassing Padova with the same score (3-1), to debut in front of its home crowd - honored in pregame from Volleyball League A as the most correct of the first edition of the Super League championship.
And also thanks to the pressure of their supporters, in more than three thousand units for the first home of their heroes, Trento has been able to cope with the difficulties which started from the third set onwards, after a great start. Padova has grown at a distance thanks to the competition of Giannotti and Averill, has cornered the tricolor for a partial and half but with Lanza (best scorer of his 20 points and the 53%) and especially Solé (mvp with 3 blocks and an ace over 81% at net) have been able to get back on top while remaining a full score. A haul that will get them to the first big match of the regular season (next Sunday in Perugia) already to +3 on the same Sir Safety and a point ahead on the first pursuers Civitanova, Latina and Modena. Among the Yellow-blues to emphasize the growth of Van de Voorde (100% in the first half, two blocks and a service point) and the eleven point blocks that did definitely raise the white flag to the guests.
