No time to celebrate properly the qualification for the Final Four of 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League for Diatec Trentino, because it arrived soon time to think about the next commitment, this time in the playoffs Championship UnipolSai 2016.
The schedule of this part of the season constantly alternates European to other Super League events, forcing Giannelli and teammates to immediately prepare for the next challenge. This morning - a little more than eighteen hours after returning from Russia - the Italian champions had in PalaTrento a double training session (weights and ball) to see the physical and tactical foundations in view of the very important match in Molfetta on Easter day. In Puglia, starting at 6.00 pm (broadcasted live on Radio Dolomiti and on www.sportube.tv) Diatec Trentino will try to take advantage of the first of two chances to gain access to the semifinals of the Playoff Championship UnipolSai 2016, being ahead 2-1 in the series of quarter finals. For this event, in fact, there will be just another workout, which will be done on Friday afternoon in PalaTrento; the takeoff to Molfetta is scheduled on Saturday morning. Available to Stoytchev are also Kaziyski and De Angelis, remained in the city during the early part of the week for various reasons. Ever closer to full recovery is also Filippo Lanza; the Captain already on Tuesday night in Belgorod was back to play a couple of sets as a starter, demonstrating his growing condition.

On the other hand being able to play the Final Four of the Champions League is a great stimulus for me to work even harder and be ready for the important appointment of Krakow. To return among the top four in Europe was a goal of great value that we were able to get; we are especially happy for the company that had put it among the major of the season. Anyways, before the match against Lube, there are other goals to reach: we also want to center the access to the semi-finals Play Off Championship UnipolSai and on Sunday in Molfetta we will hunt the success that can close the series. We know that we might suffer, but I think that recent results have shown that now we have a different wickedness and determination from that of a couple of weeks ago. The unfortunate experience of Game 2 in PalaPoli and also the one of the regular season we also allow us to manage, perhaps with greater clarity the difficult times, having already experienced them in the recent past."
