Diatec Trentino ended this week with  a double session of training, divided into weights and single technique in the morning and team work six against six in the afternoon. The technical staff allowed a full day of rest to all the fourteen players of the yellow-blue team who trained for two hours and a half this evening at   PalaTrento. On Monday May 1st the team will get back to work to prepare for Match 2 of 2017 UnipolSai Championship Play off finals, that will be played four days after ( Thursday May 4th) in the establishment of via Fersina.
Angelo Lorezzetti was able to train intensely  the team focusing in play actions, considering the fact that there aren’t official commitments this weekend.
On Thursday evening Diatec Trentino will have to face Cucine Lube Civitanova and a negative tradition: in the previous editions of Champion finals, the Club in via Trener in fact has never won Match 2. The precendents are in favour of the opponents. Trento has been defeated three times in Piacenza (for 2-3 in 2008, 1-3 in 2009 and 2013) and one time in Modena (in dour sets in 2015); however on this occasion Lanza and his team mates will be able to count on the court as it never happened before. PalaTrento is still undefeated since a year (last ko on April 25th 2016 against Modena) and the home team has won the last 23 official matches in Trentino Volley’s history).
