In the few days off available between the end of the Intercontinental Round and the beginning of the preparation for the Final Six of the World League 2016 with Italy, Trentino Volley’s captain Filippo Lanza has confirmed once again his commitment to the society in which he grew up and chose to spend the short period of resting in Trento, in order to meet Angelo Lorenzetti and reassure everyone about his physical condition. The problems accused on the knees during the second half of last season, finally seem to be just a bad memory.
"I'm happy because I feel very good again, my condition of form is growing every day and it's beautiful, especially because in the last period I was able to play many games one after the other” - says the spiker from Verona grew in the Youth Department of the Club-. “Having hit the qualification for the finals of the World League with Italy is certainly a great added value, because it will allow us to play other high-level matches and mature international experience also useful for Trentino Volley. Ours is a society that has always provided many players to the National and it is right that this represents a source of pride but also an additional resource for the growth of the project and of the athletes involved. It’s nice also to share summer activities with three companions of Trento; we know each other well and we get along extremely well, but this also happens with all the other components of the blue group.”
