Eight days before the Del Monte® Coppa Italia 2018 semifinal, Sir Safety Conad Perugia confirms its superiority by standing out at PalaTrento in three sets, a field on which it had previously been defeated in ten matches out of eleven. On this occasion the Diatec Trentino facility (crowded with 4.363 spectators, seasonal record) has further the goodness of the record in the ranking of the Umbrians, which with the three points achieved today confirm the four points ahead of Lube. The yellow-blues have to deal with the fourth home defeat of their regular season but luckily do not lose the fourth place in the ranking that occupied since two rounds, thanks to the simultaneous defeat of Verona at the tiebreak in Ravenna that keeps the two teams paired at thirty-six points.
Mindful of the heavy setback suffered at PalaFlorio, the hosts started the match with a different look, confirming the formation with three spikers in the field.
