“The team has played very well, without big mistakes, but we haven’t done the most difficult part of the way to the qualification for the semi-finals yet – explained the trainer of Diatec Trentino Angelo Lorenzetti after the end of the match -. The double round makes it impossible to be distracted, so we have to play the return match in the same way as we played tonight. Piacenza struggled to keep our initial pace, but in the second partial has become more competitive; the team has played a good performance, the guys have always been good at controlling the opponents in the most difficult moments of the match too”.
Diatec Trentino will return to Trento tonight and will have a day off before resuming training on Friday morning in view of the match in Play Off Scudetto UnipolSai 2017 scheduled for Sunday 5th March at 6 pm – in occasion of the first match of the quarter-finals against Gi Group Monza (tickets available at http://www.vivaticket.it/ita/event/diatec-trentino-monza-quarti-gara-1/95164). The return match of the quarter-finals of 2017 CEV Cup will be played in two weeks, on Wednesday 15th at PalaTrento at 8.30 pm (match included in the season-ticket).
