Play off, in the semifinal a new challenge vs Perugia, like in the season 2015: all the figures of the match

The semifinal in the lower part of the board of Championship Play Off UnipolSai 2016 will see for the second time the challenge between Trento and Perugia. The match was the same played in the semifinal of the season 2015, when Diatec Trentino won in three games (2-1), and then won also the shield defeating Modena in the final (3-1). Between the two teams there was also a quarter-final of Coppa Italia in 2013 and a semifinal of Coppa Italia in 2015; both matches ended with a victory by Trentino Volley. The duel that will start on Sunday 19th of March will be the second one between the two Clubs but not between the two cities in the Play Off. Trentino Volley played the quarter finals in the season 2003/04 against RPA-LuigiBacchi.it Perugia (different club from the one headed by Gino Sirci): also in that occasion the yellow-blue had a better place in the Championship, but because of the injuries and the strength of the opponents, they surprisingly lost in four games (1-3).
For Sir Safety Conad it will be the fourth presence in semifinal in five attendance in the Play Off; only on the first appearance in the season 2012/13 its adventure ended at the quarter-final (defeated by Piacenza) while it got twice to the Finale, then lost in four games (1-3) against Macerata in 2014 and in three games (0-3) against Modena in 2016.
