Trentino Volley during the fist training day

First day of the season 2017/2018 for Trentino Volley, marked out by the really high number of new faces. This afternoon, at the meeting at Palatrento, five  players and the whole technical staff were present, but only the libero Matteo Chiappa and the coach Angelo Lorenzetti, on the team's bench for the second year, are the elements of continuity. For all the others it was an actual debut with the Club of Trener street: starting from the Australian blocker, Aidan Zingel, and from the libero Daniele De Pandis, to the setter Pier Paolo Partenio and the spiker Oreste Cavuto, raised in the youth field of Trentino but never arrived, until now, to the roster of SuperLega.
Leading the preparation there is an inedit staff, that will be counting on the enthusiasm of the Assistant Coaches Francesco Petrella and Dante Bonifante, and also on the experience of the Atletic Director Alessandro Guazzaloca and of the physical therapist Alessandro Russo. They are  professionists who have already worked with Angelo Lorenzetti in the past and who the coach has personally chosen.
During the first weeks of the preparation four young players from the blue-yellow nursery will increase the number and the quality of the team: the spikers Francesco Leoni and Alessandro Michieletto, the setter Filippo Pizzini and the opposite hitter Sergio Poggio. After the physicals of today the first training will take place on Friday at the gym in Trento Nord, in Gardolo 4-6pm and there will be another at more or less the same hour on Saturday. On these occasions the fans will have the opportunity to discover the new members of the team (unfortunately they couldn't do it today because the PalaTrento was closed to the public due to some working at the lighting system).
Even though there aren't many players now, the training will be really intense, with two sessions of work on Friday ( pool and technique) and on Saturday (weights and ball) but they won't be training on Sunday. Even the calendar of the friendly games is intense but it won't start until the next month: the first match will be on September the 20^th at PalaTrento against the Japanese players of Japan Tobacco, three days after we will play in via Fersina against Piacenza, and on September the 30^th   we will do our first away game (in Schio, Vicenza) for the match against Padova that will assign the 3^rd Memorial Romare. During the days of September the 3^rd and the 4^th we will train with the German team of Friedrichshafen.
