Ravenna defeated in three sets, Diatec Trentino back on track in SuperLega Unipolsai

Diatec Trentino continues the positive streak in SuperLega UnipolSai 2016/17 securing the anticipation match of the twentieth round and temporarily retaking second place in the rank, while waiting for the outcome of Modena-Perugia. As happened in the previous eleven home matches, PalaTrento has proven to be undefeatable holding a record that’s been lasting for some nine months now. Tonight, Bunge Ravenna lost 3-0 after playing equally for two sets.
Lorenzetti’s team showed how versatile its game can be; with Solé sitting in the stands (due to illness) and Lanza on the bench, Yellow-blues relied on Antonov (2 direct aces)  and Daniele Mazzone, mvp of the match thanks to his performance especially in the first set (75% percentage in first attack, 1 block and 1 ace).  The first set, won after a comeback, was incredibly uncertain; after that, Diatec was able to control the match thanks to a great performance from Tine Urnaut (best scorer with 11 points and 62% on the net) and the usual Stokr (9 points with 50%). It was fatal to Ravenna having mistaken 18 serves with 3 aces and the bad night from the two spikers: Lyneel (36%) had to leave the court due to a back injury during the third set.
