The Diatec Trentino's starting six chosen by Angelo Lorenzetti for the rescheduled match of the 5th turn of regular season will see Giannelli as setter, Nelli in the opposite role, Lanza and Urnaut as spikers, Van de Voorde and Daniele Mazzone as middle-blockers and Colaci in the libero role. LPR Piacenza welcomes the leaders of the ranking with Hierrezuelo as setter, Hernandez in the opposite role, Marshall and Clevenot as spikers, Tencati and Alletti as middle-blockers and Papi as libero. The match starts with great equilibrium (5-4 and then 10-10); is Van de Voorde to break such an equilibrium with a break-point and a block on Hernandez (12-10). Nelli also scores the +3 (14-11), but then the Cuban opposite wakes up and mends the tear (16-16). There is a new sprint of Trentino thanks to an error of Alletti (19-17) and an attack of  Van de Voorde (23-20); Urnaut in attack conquers the first set ball, at the third one Diatec Trentino achieves 25-22 with a service error of Hierrezuelo. Piacenza reacts aggressively at the beginning of the second set, taking an advantage of 3-5 and then of 4-8 thanks to Hernandez very efficient at attack. A block of Van de Voorde, an ace of Urnaut and an error of the White-red spiker cause a precarious equilibrium (11-11). The balance lasts until  16-16, when Nelli makes a mistake at net (16-18); Lorenzetti calls a time out and at the reprise of the match his team plays a break of 4-0 (20-18) with  Mazzone very good at blocks. Hernandez scores the advantage (20-21); at the sprint Tencati’s block on Stokr is decisive (23-25), who entered the  court instead of Nelli few volleys before and scored quickly two points. In the third set Piacenza shows more determination than Trento, creating a deep gap from 8-8 to 9-13 with Hernandez still very determined. Lorenzetti throws in the game at the same time three players (Solé, Stokr and Antonov instead of Daniele Mazzone, Nelli and Lanza) and the Yellow-blue find the right attitude (14-15) but only for few moments, because then the errors of Trentino and the attacks of  Clevenot divert the set in favor of the home team (18-21), which close the set with an attack of the French (21-25), taking an advantage of 1-2. In the fourth set nothing changes; Piacenza is immediately in the lead (4-8),  also when Trento tries to get on track (12-12 thanks to Stokr, who stayed in the court instead of Nelli) and Hernandez is ready to score new breaks (13-16). Thanks to Antonov, Diatec Trentino gets closer to minus one  (20-21), then Clevenot closes the match on 22-25.
