Here comes Stokr again: "It’s a great feeling to come back to Trento, I am just like three years ago"

The prestigious Trophy Hall of Trentino Volley Point has announced this afternoon the return to Trento of Jan Stokr. Three years after the conclusion of the previous experience in the Yellow-blue jersey, the Czech opposite opened the second part of his sporting career with the Club of via Trener right in front of so many Cups raised to the sky between 2010 and 2013. Nine of the sixteen trophies won by the Company of President Mosna has at the bottom the sign of Stokr.
"In early May I had passed by the site of Trentino Volley for a quick hello; I could not imagine that after a month and a half I'd be back here again as a player of this club but obviously I am very happy to come back because it was what I wanted and hoped” - explained to the journalists -”As soon as Trento required me I told my agent not to consider other possibilities because I absolutely wanted to resume the interrupted speech of three years ago. It’s still a thrill to dress this jersey. Even from a distance I continued to follow Trentino Volley and I was impressed by the excellent results obtained in recent seasons, including the wonderful adventure experienced in the CEV Champions League 2016. They have changed many players but the level and spirit of this team has remained unchanged. This is a wonderful stimulus for someone like me, who can not stay more than a week without playing volleyball and always wants to have a new big target. I looked at the age of my teammates: I will be the oldest of the squad and actually does something to you but to the fans I say that I’m the same as three years ago”.
"I didn’t work in this company when Jan was playing here but I have a very precise memory as opponent: he is a great player who has written the history of Trentino Volley and returned willingly” - said the General Manager Bruno Da Re -. “After the departure of Djuric we immediately thought of him as a substitute and the agreement with his agent was found quickly. We decided to sign a one year contract by choice of both sides but our hope is that we can further extend the relationship."
During the next few weeks Stokr will continue to train individually at home to be ready for the rally, which will probably be held after the first week of August.
