After the convincing success obtained on Wednesday evening versus the Japanese team of the Jt Thunders, on Saturday September 23rd Diatec Trentino will be again on the field at PalaTrento to test again their physical form status; the chance won’t be this time given by an official test match but by a joint training with Wixo Lpr Piacenza during the usual time of the afternoon training sessions, between 4 and 6.30 p.m.
The aim of this joint training with the team from Emilia will be to verify the physical condition of the entire available roster and to register any progress on the field compared to the ones shown during the recent match versus JT Thunders.
This is one of the reasons why both the coaches, Lorenzetti and Giuliani, will decide to set up the joint training just like a normal match, to gain a bit of experience and physical form versus a challenging opponent.
From this point of view, Piacenza will come in Trento with a small advantage; the red-and-white team have in fact already played five matches, winning 3-1 versus Monza and Cantù, 3-0 versus Reggio Emilia, obtaining a 2-2 draw versus Milano and Monza and again losing 1-3 versus Milano.
Speaking about Wixo Lpr, the spiker Parodi, the middle-blocker Yosifov and the new duo setter-opposite formed by Baranowicz and Fei appeared in great shape. The only one absent in the guest roster will be French Spiker Clevenot, who will join the group during next week.
The joint training will end the work program scheduled for the sixth week of preparation of Trentino Volley and will be opened to the public with free entrance.
