Trento, September 30 2017

The last week of preparation before the start of the season for Diatec Trentino will close with a match against Kioene Padova valid for the 3rd “Masiera Day Memorial Livio Romare”; on Saturday September 30th at 7:30 pm in Schio is the first serve.
It is the perfect situation for coach Lorenzetti to verify the shape and condition of the team with last arrived players, only one week ahead the 2017 Del Monte Supercoppa Italiana match against Perugia. The most expected players are, of course, Simone Giannelli, Filippo Lanza and Luca Vettori, who only joined on Tuesday. Their presence boosted the tickets sale, sold out for the match, and will provide a general overview on the team condition for next weekend.
“My idea is to line up the best six players in order to test on the court against a fierce opponent our qualities and the harmony between the players
- said coach Lorenzetti introducing the match. On Tuesday we started a new part of preparation, with all thirteen players at hand, and we certainly improved, with more enthusiasm and motivation; that’s what I want to see during the match in Schio”.
On the other side of the net, Diatec Trentino will challenge Kioene Padova: setter Travica, libero Bassanello, middle blocker Volpato and spiker Cirovic are unlikely to take the court due to injuries or physical problems. Who will be on court is opposite player Gabriele Nelli, along with Alberto Polo one of the two former Trentino Volley player. The two have played a key role during the pre season for the team of coach Baldovin: seven test matches, last one against german team of RheinMein.
The match, “Masiera Day Memorial Livio Romare”, dedicated to former Jockey Schio Volley player prematurely passed away in 2014, will be covered live on www.trentinovolley.it; on the official website point by point updates and set reports. Live updates will also be available on Facebook and Twitter.
