Trento, 17th May 2015

Before his departure to Argentina, where he will enjoy some ten days of holiday before joining the Argentinian national team, the middle blocker of Trentino Volley Sebastian Solé has shared the most beautiful moments of his second season with the Trentino and shared them with Trentino Volley TV, starting from the very last point in game number 4 from the Final Series at PalaPanini in Modena. This was the last and decisive game of the season and he had the honour to score the last point.

THE LAST POINT This middle attack I will remember for the rest of my life, it was an honour and a wonderful satisfaction to finish off the Finals with my attack. At this point of the game, I knew that the ball could well be for me, because Djuric had just defended, and Burgsthaler, whom Stoytchev had only just put in play to block instead of Lanza, was in position 4. Objectively, I was very much expecting this ball”.

SECOND SEASON IN TRENTO “I believe I have very much grown in all aspects in the last 8 months I spent in Trento, both in terms of technique and also mentally. Stoytchev played a fundamental role in this, always giving me many advices and always looking attentively after me. Being a player who always tries to listen to the directions and advices of the coaches made it simple for me. On the eve of this season, I could not expect to win the Championship and winning it it was a surprise, but we deserved it and for me it is a double satisfaction because this is the second trophy I win in Trento in two seasons. When I arrived here at the end of the summer of 2013, I said that I would like to help the team to win again: I succeeded in this and I am very happy because it also helps the Club to successfully carry on with its activities.”

THE SUPPORT FROM THE ARGENTINIAN NATIONAL TEAM During this series of the Finals, the “Seleccion”, the Argentinian National team, which is already preparing for the World League and I will join them in one week, often came together in front of the TV to support me. I received many messages from South America with compliments, among which, also the ones from my team-mates, and I was very pleased to know that they support me from a distance. In particular, I am happy that Velasco, our coach, always encouraged me before every game, telling me that I had to win because this would also be good for the volleyball in my country.”

DEDICATIONS“The Championship of 2015 I would like to dedicate to my family and friends. It has not been easy to be so far away from them, but I believe that this victory repays both me and them all the sacrifices. And further, I would not like to forget a special dedication to Trentino Volley, who helped me a lot in growing and has done a lot for me”.
