Simone Giannelli got easily used to the steep climbings, thanks to his talent; we remember the victory of the 2015 Championship as map during his first season in SuperLega. This morning Simone has done something completely new. As announced in the previous days, the players of Trentino Volley and of the national team, today has been the official snow groomer at the 67th edition of the motor hillclimbing Trento-Bondone. On board of the i20 driven by the rally Silvano Pintarelli, the yellow-blue player travelled as navigator for 17,3 km, starting one of the most important hillclimbing races in Europe and the sixth trial of the Campionato Italiano Velocità in Montagna. For the record, the team Pintarelli-Giannelli aced a big time (little more than twelve minutes).
“I’m so glad for this experience, I enjoyed it till the end - stated Simone Giannelli - . I wanted it to last more but Silvano Pintarelli has been fast. I’ve had a great time, I thank all for this experience”.
