Trento, November 17th 2017
After the draw for the composition of the five rounds of the first phase of 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League, tonight CEV defined the calendars of each pool as well.
There will immediately be two away matches for Trentino Diatec (in early December in Belgium in Maaseik and then in mid-December in Poland on the field of Zaksa), before the home European debut at PalaTrento versus Izmir on January 17th. The return matches will be played on reversed dates, so the yellow-blues will conclude their Main Phase with two matches in front of their public. The appointments: the round phase will start between the 5th and the 7th of December 2017 and will end on February 28th 2018. The six turns of matches will be played during the week. Only 12 teams will qualify for the Playoffs (which will start on March 13th 2018): the first two classified teams for each Pool and then the two best teams among the thirds in ranking in the five rounds. The whole tournament will be available on Fox Sports, which is present on the satellite platform of Sky.
This, in details, will be the path that Trentino Diatec will follow in the Pool E of the Main Phase of 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League. The appointments below are just tentative; because of television needs the matches could in fact be disputed with a day in advance or could be postponed as well (we will shortly have the official status of dates and schedules).
