Trento, December 8th 2016

The training program continues without pauses for Diatec Trentino towards the next appointment of SuperLega UnipolSai 2016/17, although the feast day of the Immaculate Conception. In order to be prepared for the first match of the away round of regular season, the technical staff scheduled a technic and tactical session of training for today, to prepare carefully the insidious away match in Vibo Valentia, where the Yellow-blue will play on Sunday December 11th at 6 p.m. against Tonno Callipo Calabria. Before throwing himself into the descending phase of regular season, the Argentinian middle-blocker Sebastian Solé took stock of the home matches ended last Sunday with the tie break of Molfetta, at the microphone of Trentino Volley Tv. “We are very satisfied of the first thirteen matches of the championship – he admitted - ; we have worked very well and for this reason we have always  played at high levels achieving the second position  probably unexpected , because the day before there were a lot of teams more quoted than we were. We didn’t achieved the first place for a little, but in this case I think we can look at the result with a smile rather than with regret for not having conquered the Winter champion title”.
Against Civitanova and Perugia we have probably touched the highest levels of the game of the entire home round – the player from Rosario added - ; there were also teams that were able to cause difficulties like Piacenza, Monza and Molfetta but, despite the decrease in the last matches, we reached very well the aim we wanted to reach: the direct qualification to the quarter finals of Coppa Italia thanks to achievement of one of the first four places in the ranking list. How was my first part of the season? Surely positive, I’m happy because I’ve learned something new working especially with Lorenzetti on attack with detached reception; I experienced only amazing things. This period, in which we play only one match during the week, is very important, because we are working harder on the physical preparation than on the technical and tactic aspects of our play actions. We are a bit tired but we see the results of training. On Sunday in Vibo Valentia we are going to face a commitment similar to the one we faced a few days ago in Molfetta; also in this occasion, we will have to arrive there with a very decisive mentality and play our match till the end”.
