The Official shirt numbers chosen by Trentino Volley athletes for the 2016/2017 season, which will start officially on Saturday, September 24th with the semifinals of Del Monte^® Italian Super Cup in 2016 against Modena Volley at PalaPanini. Here is the full list:

The only player  already in the squad during the last season, that has changed number is Simon Van de Voorde, who left the 14 to Stokr (jersey that had always dressed in his previous experience in Trento, between 2010 and 2013 ) to wear the number 12.
After a year of absence, returns the list number 3, for eight years on the shoulders of Birarelli: it will be always used by a middle-blocker, Matteo Burgsthaler, who strongly wanted him to celebrate his third experience with Trentino Volley .
Among the new faces, to signal that Blasi has selected 6, in Trento already the prerogative of other setters like Meoni, Zygadlo and finally Bratoev, while young libero Chiappa has booked 8, which in the recent past has always been used by players from the youth of his role as Thei and De Angelis. Simone Giannelli will continue however to have 9, commemorating the day of his birthday - recently celebrated with a victory at the Olympics Rio 2016 against the USA.
At the jersey number of the director from Bolzano is tied curiosity more interesting statistic: the 9 is in fact the only always used in the sixteen years of the Club of via Trener; previously it was dressed by famous names such as Grbic, Nascimento, Sala, Hübner, Bernardi and Lavorato, first historic captain.
