The debut in 2017 Unipolsai championship Play-off saves a great night to remember for the society of via Trener. The 3-0 versus Gi Group Monza has in fact written an important chapter of Trentino Volley’s history. With a duration of just seventy minutes, the match of Sunday evening at PalaTrento has become the shortest overall played by Diatec Trentino in fifteen seasons of championship Play-off.
The previous record has been broken by two minutes: it was another quarter-finals match and it was lost in Piacenza for 3-0 on April 18th 2005 (72 minutes). The duration record about the ninety-four post season played matches was in Diatec Trentino – Sir Safety Perugia ended 3-2 on May 1st 2015 and in Diatec Trentino – Parmareggio Modena ended 3-2 on May 3rd 2015, both the match ended after just 144 minutes.
More than 3.500 were at PalaTrento on Sunday evening and everyone of them will have another reason to say “I was there”!
