The 21 points scored on Wednesday night in the home match of CEV Champions League didn’t allow Filippo Lanza to help for the success of Trentino Diatec versus Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle but still allowed the captain to get closer to an important statistic goal with the kit of Trentino Volley on.
The spiker from Verona, grown in the yellow-blue Youth Team, is very close to his personal second place in the ranking of the all-time best yellow-blue scorers in an almost twenty-years-long history; with 2.660 scored points he is in fact just two points away from the second place of Osmany Juantorena (2.662 scored points in 193 matches), in a ranking dominated by the record man Kaziyski (4.945 scored points in 334 played matches).
The A22 Derby of Sunday February 18th at PalaPanini of Modena (6 p.m. – live broadcast on Radio Dolomiti and Lega Volley Channel) could then be the right occasion to conquer the second position on the day of his 284th official played match with the Club of via Trener.
