Trentino Volley head coach Radostin Stoytchev explained at the end of the game against Craiova, “After nailing our goal winning the first two sets, we wanted to carry on our way and finish the match as fast as possible, even during the third set. Alas, we didn’t make it, as we immediately started to struggle, and we lost our temper for some questionable refereeing decisions. But I didn’t want to go back to the initial formation as I am sure that some of the younger players must learn to overcome certain situations by themselves: they help to grow. During the fourth set we managed to play again on a higher level, and sure enough we finished the game 3-1, allowing us to concentrate, starting from tonight, on the upcoming Molfetta challenge, a match that will conclude a very busy period in this month of January”.
In Luxembourg, in a week’s time, there will be the draw for the next Round of the 2015 CEV Cup, the first round that will see the come back of four teams that had been eliminated during the finals of the CEV Champions League (the second-worst ranked and the top three of the seven rounds); one of these teams will be ENERGY T.I. Diatec Trentino’s opponent in the double round (home and away) that will be played between the 3rd and the 12th of May.
