Piacenza, January 31st, 2016

After Padua and Maaseik, Diatec Trentino obtains another victory in 2016 the last day January. This evening the Italian champions have in fact won at the PalaBanca of Piacenza for 3-0 (the fourth consecutive one) in the match valid for the fifteenth round of the regular season of Super League UnipolSai, remaining perfectly in line with the road map that will lead them to gamble in a week three more important points in the championship and the Del Monte® Italian Cup 2016.
The round 3-0 imposed on the historical rival LPR, from this point of view was the best you could hope for, which came to an end after a performance free of large burrs and, above all, saving precious physical and mental energy. Piacenza has proven to struggle to keep pace with the tricolor since the early exchanges, filling their game with errors and inaccuracies; Lanza and teammates took handful advantage of that to collect three points in fluency, showing again the good mood of the middle-blocker pair Solé-Van de Voorde (18 points in two, with five blocks each) and, more generally, the effectiveness by the net of all the attackers, indeed inspired by Giannelli in direction (rightly voted MVP). The third place is even stronger now, thanks to the points that both Perugia and Verona have lost, but the distance that leads to the second place decreased as well.
Diatec Trentino will return to Trento already this evening and starting from Monday afternoon will start preparing the week that will lead the team to play another match of Super League UnipolSai (on Wednesday will come to PalaTrento CMC Romagna, tickets on sale on http://www.vivaticket.it/index.php?nvpg[evento]&id_show=81253) and the Final Four Del Monte® Italian Cup 2016 at the Mediolanum Forum of Assago: on Saturday, February 6th at 5:30 pm will be already the time of the semifinal against Cucine Lube Banca Marche Civitanova.
