It will be played tomorrow evening, on Sunday, March 6th, at the same time on all the fields the last regular season match of Super League UnipolSai 2015/16. In the twenty-second day of competition, Diatec Trentino will stage at the Eurosuole Forum of Civitanova Marche (Macerata province) to challenge Cucine Lube Banca Marche, who already won with an anticipated round the regular season. The kick-off is scheduled at 6.00 pm broadcasted live on RAI Sport 2 and Radio Dolomiti.
HERE DIATEC TRENTINO No more need of points to improve their position in the standings (the previous weekend results have already certified the third place), the Italian champions face the last regular season trip with the desire to compete again at the highest level against the best team in the league.
The absence of Djuric and Lanza (who still follow the team in the Marche region although they won’t play) will make this task even more difficult but Radostin Stoytchev, as usual, doesn’t look for excuses. But we want to play a good game and demonstrate once again our temperament”.

The balance is in favor of Trentino Volley to 28-19, with the Italian champions who have won eight of their last thirteen challenges played; the one of tomorrow will be absolutely the second comparison which will be held in Civitanova Marche, where the two teams have only played the second leg of the 2014/15 regular season with the victory of the hosts 3-2 (on March 1st, 2015). In total thirty team stormed the field of Lube in nine of the eighteen games played in the Marche. Both pro Stoytchev’s team the two seasonal previous, won at the tie-break: with partial 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-16, 16-14 at PalaTrento in first round on December 13th, with scores of 25-19, 17-25, 25-22, 25-27, 15-11 at the Mediolanum Forum of Assago for the semifinals of the 2016 del Monte Italian Cup played a month ago (on February 6th).
REFEREES The meeting will be led by the tandem of Fabrizio Saltalippi from Perugia (in Serie A since 1995 and internationally since 2000) and Giorgio Gnani (from Ferrara, in role since 1997 and internationally since 2009), in the second joint leadership in Super League 2015/16 UnipolSai, the twelfth for both. In the current season, the Umbrian whistle has refereed Diatec Trentino during the 3-0 success in Forlì (on November 15th), in Molfetta (on December 22nd, the first leg of quarterfinals of the Italian Cup) and in Piacenza (on January 31st), while Gnani directed Trento vs. Padova 3-1 on November 1st, Milan vs. Trento 0-3 on December 5th and the same Molfetta vs. Trento 0-3 on December 22nd.
TV, RADIO AND INTERNET Lube-Trento will be a global media event, broadcasted live on any type of media. On television will be broadcast by RAI Sport 2, visible on the digital terrestrial platform and on Sky on channel 228, with comment entrusted to Maurizio Colantoni and Andrea Lucchetta.
