After the interlude tied to the Final Four Del Monte^® Italian Cup 2016, it starts again the Super League UnipolSai 2015/16. After the previous game Milano vs. Latina (3-1) on Tuesday, it will be played between today and tomorrow the seventeenth round of the regular season; Diatec Trentino will be the protagonist of the most anticipated match of the day, to be played in the postponement of Thursday, February 11th at the PalaPanini of Modena, again against DHL in the traditional A22 derby. The kick-off is scheduled at 8.30 pm, broadcasted live on RAI Sport 1 and Radio Dolomiti.
HERE DIATEC TRENTINO A little more than 96 hours from the game of the Mediolanum Forum of Assago, the Italian Champions will face again the Emilian in a race that in this case doesn’t give away titles but a lot to both teams in view of the race to the top of the league. Diatec Trentino needs indeed the points of appointment to try not to lose further contact with the second place of Lube (+5) but above all to defend its third place from the assault of Verona (four points away) and Perugia (6). The defeat suffered in the Italian Cup final has not been cleared by Radostin Stoytchev, who starts right from that dry knockout to present the new commitment.
"That race has further shown that DHL is right now the best team in the league and we must always be aware of it because to thin the difference we need to work with humility and dedication knowing that the difference with them is currently marked” - said the Bulgarian coach. -”And it’s difficult that within only a few days the balance of power will change, but anyway we will go to Modena to play our best, knowing that they must offer a very different performance from the perspective of quality in order to win. On Sunday our opponents were almost perfect, forcing us to play bad”.
Trentino Volley will be in Emilia with the whole team and with two days of training: the one on Tuesday, divided between weights and ball, and the one of today dedicated only to technical and tactic before departure to Modena, where tomorrow will perform the classic finishing pre-race in PalaPanini. Against Modena Trentino Volley  will play the 639^ official match in its history (budget 446 victories, 192 defeats), the 399^ in the regular season, and will go in search of 218° external success.
PREVIOUSLY Modena Volley and Trentino Volley will play tomorrow evening the 58th Official comparison of their history; 17% of the total (10 of 57) was only played in the last fourteen months, considering that the two clubs met in the last four finals of the Italian competitions (Italian Cup in 2015 and 2016, Play Off Championship and Italian Super Cup). The balance is in favor of Trento to 34-23, with the Company of via Trener who has won six of the last ten previous ones, including two of the three most recent match at PalaPanini: on March 21st, 2015 victory for 3-1 in the regular season and then on May 13th, 2015 3-0 in the fourth and decisive game of the championship final series. More generally, the PalaPanini was conquered by the Yellow-blues in twelve occasions out of a total of twenty-seven matches played. This season already three races: on October 24th Modena vs. Trento in PalaPanini 3-2 in the Super Cup, on November 22nd Trento vs. Modena 3-2 at PalaTrento in the regular season, on February 7th Modena vs. Trento 3-0 in Assago.
REFEREES The meeting will be directed by Simone Santi (first referee from Città di Castello - Perugia in the top serie since 1994 and international FIVB since 2011) and Fabrizio Pasquali (secondo of Ascoli Piceno, in role since 1997 and internationally since 2004). The two whistles are at their first direction season joint; the ninth for the Umbrian, who has already refereed Diatec Trentino twice this regular season (Romagna vs. Trento 0-3 on November 15th and Trento vs. Treia 3-2 on December 13th), the eleventh for Pasquali who directed the Yellow-blues during the 3-1 victory over Monza in PalaTrento on December 20th and Modena vs. Trento 3-2, the Italian Super Cup 2015 final on October 24th.
A FOLLOWING COACH OF FANS will be nearly a hundred fans who will follow live the team in Modena thanks to private cars and especially by means of the organized trip by bus from Trentino Volley in close collaboration with the official carrier Italian Travel Company. For the benefit of members, we want to remind you the departure times of the bus on Thursday: from Mezzolombardo in Piazza Fiera at 5.00 pm, from Trento in Piazzale ex-Zuffo at 5:20 pm, from the exit of Rovereto Nord at 5:40 pm approx.
TV, RADIO AND INTERNET Modena-Trento will be a global media event, broadcasted live on any type of media. On television will be broadcast by RAI Sport 1, visible on the digital terrestrial platform and on Sky on channel 227, with comment entrusted to Maurizio Colantoni and Andrea Lucchetta.
