SuperLega UnipolSai 2017/2018 will play between Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th January the 17th day of regular season; but Diatec Trentino won’t be between the teams of the first round. The PalaFlorio of Bari is not fit for use so for the next two days Diatec Trentino won’t be able to play against BBC Castellana Grotte and they will play a rescheduled match in two weeks (24th of January), the day before the Final Four of Coppa Italia 2018(which was scheduled three days after on the same field).
Angelo Lorenzetti’s team will stands on the sideline during the week and they will use this time to prepare their next match; on Sunday 14th January at the PalaTrento Cucine Lube Civitanova will be there for the big match of the 18th turn. Lanza and his team came back today to train at the PalaTrento, after a break on Monday, to start the program for the match, that consists in a double session similar to the one of today (weights and individual technic in the morning, and teamwork in the afternoon) that will take place even on Thursday while on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday the team will train only once. During this period the coaching and the medical staff will examine the conditions of the team and in particular those of the libero Daniele De Pandis who did play against Ravenna because of a bad knee.
