It will be played entirely tomorrow - on Tuesday, December 8th - the tenth round of the regular season of the 2015/16 Super League UnipolSai, the penultimate of the first round. Diatec Trentino will be staged again away, this time at the PalaOlimpia of Verona to face Calzedonia Verona in the traditional derby of the Adige. The kick-off is scheduled at 6.00 pm, broadcasted live on RAI Sport 1 TV and on Radio Dolomiti.
HERE DIATEC TRENTINO The shortest trip of the entire season (only 90 kilometers that the Yellow-blues has covered already today evening, immediately after the eve’s training in PalaTrento) is one of the most important ever for the Italian champions, that will travel to Verona to fight for the chance to keep their position in the standings as the first alternative to the pair of Lube-Modena. The challenge against Calzedonia comes after an extremely positive period for the team of Stoytchev, back from three great consecutive victories for 3-0 and by the recovery of Tine Urnaut, who on Saturday evening at the PalaBorsani of Castellanza played the entire first game as regular of his new adventure with Trentino Volley.
"This is the key match of our first round because probably it will play a key role in defining not only our position in the standings but also that of two other teams” - said the coach Radostin Stoytchev introducing the match. -”As we had imagined at the beginning of the season, we and Verona will play for a place to stay among the top four behind Lube, Modena and Perugia. I expect a match where everything can really happen, but certainly we have our chances to win it. Calzedonia is a team that I like because it plays well, is balanced in every department as also shown by the results obtained so far. We are going to face a difficult task."
For once, the Bulgarian coach will only have problems of richness, considering that even Lanza (not in perfect condition in the match against Revivre) is regularly available and could probably find a starting right in the match against the team of his province (he is originally from Zevio Veronese). In balloting for the other regular place are Antonov and Urnaut.
The challenge at PalaOlimpia will be the 625^ official in the history of Trentino Volley, the 338^ far away where they collected 211 victories (including 118 in the regular season). The comparison will provide the opportunity to Mitar Djuric to get quadruple digit regard to personal points with the yellow-blues jersey: the greek opponent is in fact currently at 996; he scored 80 of these in the last five matches in which in four occasions was the best scorer of his, and in two he also won the title of MVP.
PREVIOUSLY At the PalaOlimpia of Verona will be staged the official twenty-sixth confrontation of the history of the two Companies; the so-called derby Adige has almost always brought luck to the colors of Trentino, with the Yellow-blues capable to win nineteen previous matches and then leave just six victories to the opponents. Even the last match has confirmed this trend: on January 31st, during the last official match between the two teams, Trento won in three sets in front of their home crowd. To find a win between the friendly walls of Calzedonia, you must go back but until November 1st, 2014 (victory for 3-0 in the fourth day of first leg); before that result, the PalaOlimpia had been conquered consecutively six times: one for 3-2, two for 3-1 and three for 3-0. The two teams met recently in PalaTrento in a friendly pre-season (on October 22nd), which boosted the Calzedonia at the tie-break (21-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 10-15) .
REFEREES The meeting will be headed by Luca Sobrero (from Carcare - Savona, in Serie A since 1996 and internationally since 2001) and Marco Braico from Turin (of role since 2003). This is the second joint leadership in 2015/16 Super League UnipolSai (they had already arbitrated together Verona vs. Modena for 0-3 on November 1st), the fifth and fourth for Braico Sobrero that this season had already directed Trento during the trip in Perugia on November 8th. For Braico the last previous meeting with Trentino Volley was  instead on January 6th, 2015 (Trento vs. Piacenza 3-2, quarter-final of the Italian Cup).
TV, RADIO AND INTERNET Verona vs. Trento will be a global media event, broadcasted live on any type of media. On television will be broadcast by RAI Sport 1, visible on the digital terrestrial platform (also in HD on the 557) and on Sky on channel 227, with comment entrusted to Maurizio Colantoni and Andrea Lucchetta. The game will be streamed also in Internet on www.raisport.rai.it/dl/raisport/multimedia/diretta.html and will count on an intercontinental visibility (fifty nations affiliated) thanks to the broadcasts programmed by Bein Sport Arabia, Bein Sport Usa, Bein Sport France, Sportsklub, Sportsklub Poland, Bandsport, Sky Mexico, Channel 11, OTE, Romtelecom, Cyta, Ct Cinetrade Ag, Sport 5, Cmore, Perform and Img.

The pre-recorded broadcast of the match will be transmitted on Friday, December 11th at 10 pm on the regional television channel RTTR, Tv partner of via Trener’s club.
