Luxury advance tomorrow evening, Saturday, January 23rd, at PalaTrento for Diatec Trentino: starting from 8.30 pm the team champion of Italy will receive the visit of Sir Safety Conad in the most interesting match of the fourteenth round of Super League UnipolSai 2015/16. HERE DIATEC TRENTINO After gaining again that home success which was missing for almost a month due to the round 3-0 on Tuesday evening against Paok, Lanza and his teammates are going to look for another one that could further consolidate the excellent position in the standings. Perugia is in fact the first rival for third place and is delayed by just one point, after having halved its disadvantage compared to Trentino through the domestic 3-0 on Sunday over Milan.
Radostin Stoytchev doesn’t hide the importance of the appointment and especially of the stakes. There is also to defend their unbeaten in Super League at PalaTrento, instead violated on January 14th from Molfetta regarding the Italian Cup: since the League has launched the new formula of the tournament, no teams have in fact been able to win on the Mondoflex of Via Fersina between regular season and playoffs (23 straight victories).
FIRST TIME FOR BIRARELLI AS A FORMER IN PALATRENTO After playing with the jersey of Trentino Volley in the last previous eight seasons, scoring 345 matches and 2,539 points, Emanuele Birarelli will play tomorrow for the first time at PalaTrento a match against the team of which he was captain 91 times, winning 16 titles and becoming the most-capped player of all time. For Bira the public of Trento is preparing a big welcome.
PREVIOUSLY The comparison between Trentino Volley and Sir Safety Perugia has recent origin but already rather consolidated; despite the two teams have started to compete officially only in the 2012/13 season, they have already twelve previous archived, thanks to frequent Italian Cup matches and Playoffs Championship. The balance is in favor of the Yellow-blues for 9-3, thanks to the partial 4-2 imposed in six meetings in the year 2015. In the six matches in PalaTrento in five cases came the Yellow-blue success, the last time in Game 3 of the semifinals of the playoffs Championship on May 1st, which was won at the tie break by future champions of Italy. In the match of the first leg round, however, victory of the Umbrian for 3-1 (partial of 25-22, 20-25, 27-25, 25-13) with Atanasijevic MVP (33 points). Sir Safety Company is a native of Bastia Umbria, then moved to Perugia when it landed in Serie A2, and therefore not attributable to the partnership weblog RPA-LugiBacchi.it, who played in Perugia between 2002 and 2010 and that Trento challenged 21 times, winning on 12 occasions.

To find an intersection with Piana we must instead return until May 3rd, 2015 (Trento vs. Modena 3-2, in Game 1 championship final).
