The calendar of the 73rd Championship of Serie A1 SuperLega UnipolSai (season 2017/18) has been defined this morning in Bologna, at the end of three days of 2017 Volley Market organized by  Legavolley.
Diatec Trentino will start its path at  PalaTrento on Sunday October 15th against  Milano, as it happened during season 2002/03; the first away match is scheduled on October 22nd  in  Padova; the remake of Play Off Championship final and 2017 Coppa Italia against Civitanova will take place during the fifth day in Marche and it will be the first match against one of the  big teams. The others: against Verona the next day (sixth), against Perugia on the seventh day and against Modena on the tenth.
The dates: the absolute debut will be in 2017 Supercoppa Italiana, which for the second edition in a raw will use the  Final Four formula, that will be played  on Saturday October 7th and Sunday 8th at Eurosuole Forum of Civitanova Marche. Diatec Trentino will play against Perugia in the semifinal . Regular season will develop in five months between October 15th and March 4th (last day).  There will be six midweek rounds scheduled on: October 25th (third day), November 1st (fifth day), January 4th (fifteenth day), January 10th (seventeenth day), February 7th (twentieth day) and February 21st (twenty-fourth  day); during Christmas it will be also played on Boxing day (on Tuesday December 26th, a home match against Monza) and the second to last day of the year (on Saturday December 30th in Milan). The 2018 edition of  Coppa Italia, will change again its formula involving all the fourteenth teams subscribed to  SuperLega, included directly on a tennis board according to the last regular season ranking. As a second ranked team, Diatec Trentino will play only in the quarter (only home match on October 18th at PalaTrento), skipping the sixteenth and eight finals and facing the winner of the Monza-Latina match. Final Four will be played between Saturday January 27th and Sunday 28th.
The first eight teams ranked will enter the Play Off Championship at the end of regular season, that will face each other in the quarter finals ( the best of three matches); semi-finals and finals will foresee five matches. They will start on Sunday March 11th with match 1 of quarter finals and will end on Sunday May 6th (possible date of match 5).
