Sastamala (Finland), February 2nd 2017

Finland continues to be particularly favourable to the European ambitions of Trentino Diatec. After last month victory in Loimaa, in the away match of round of thirthy-two, tonight in the Scandinavian region Angelo Lorenzetti's team has done it again. They won in three sets also the first match of the round of sixteen of 2017 CEV Cup against VaLePa Sastamala.
Trentino Diatec won at Vexve Areena, court of the team that recently win the Finland Cup, with a performance not so good but effective. This performance has showed the clearness of mind and the determination needed to win the first two set that were well-balanced and then easily win the third set. To get to the next round the yellow-blue must win only two sets in the return match, that will be played at PalaTrento in thirteen days.
In the away match VaLePa exert maximum effort in the first two sets, relying on their main spikers (Sivula and Kunnari) to corner the opponent team. Although the difficulties in the side-out phase and the reception, Lorenzetti's team always keeps near the opposite team and showed to have more cold blood, beating the opponents with the blocks (8 in the match) in the first set and with the serve in the second. In the final set the value differences were more marked. For the yellow-blue satisfactory performance by Urnaut, best scorer of the match with 16 points and 54% attack, backed up by Lanza (11 with 63%) and by Nelli, who was again in the starting six like Daniele Mazzone, to regain the feeling with the match.
