Will be Molfetta the first opponent in the playoff for Diatec Trentino?

The last round of the regular season, scheduled for tomorrow evening, will deliver the final expected verdict; among them also the name of the opponent that Diatec Trentino will face in the quarterfinals of the playoffs Championship in 2016 from Thursday 10th to PalaTrento in the series that consists of five races. Thanks to their final third place in the standings, the Italian champions are already sure to face the sixth classified; three teams in the race for this position: Latina (currently 6th with 27 points, will play in Perugia), Molfetta (7th with 26 points, will wait for the visit of Piacenza) and Padua (8th with 25 points, who will be on stage at the PalaPanini of Modena and needs at least a point to reject the attempt to Monza’s overtake). The possible combinations of results are multiple, including also the arrival to equal 28 points which would favor Molfetta (one more victory than the other two opponents). Trentino Volley has already faced in the playoffs Scudetto Puglia (quarter-finals of 2015) and Latina (semifinals 2012 edition), while has never challenged Padua.
